Colombia and Mexico have joined the ranks of many countries offering Renova Linear Shockwave Therapy for erectile dysfunction patients.  Both COFEPRIS regulatory authorities (Mexico) and INVIMA regulatory authorities (Colombia), issued their approval for Renova treatment to be offered by Colombian and Mexican Sexual Medicine practitioners.

In the French national Health News channel, this issue was related to as a new treatment being performed at Tenon Hospital in Paris: Linear Shockwave Therapy with Renova (by DirexGroup).  Drugs are not always effective against erectile dysfunction.  Sometimes the penis is not vascularized enough to allow the necessary inflow of blood required for a good quality erection. With this treatment, Renova delivers low intensity shockwaves on the penis of the patient for twenty minutes. Dr. Jean-Baptiste Terrasa, urologist, shows a patient experiencing a Renova session as he explains the treatment. The machine generates low intensity shockwaves to induce angiogenesis, the generation of new vessels and hence revascularization.

In the French national Health News channel, this issue was related to in introducing a new treatment being performed at Tenon Hospital in Paris: Linear Shockwave Therapy.
